Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison (Texas) – part of the field-based medical team supporting Arcellx’s cell therapy products. Acts as a scientific resource and expert on cell therapy for health care professionals and internal stakeholders, building relationships with thought leaders and facilitating external-facing medical education and insight collection.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with HCPs within the hematology space via in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies, engaging with community thought leaders, disease state experts, cell-therapy–referring HCPs, and academic centers.
  • Compliantly partner with field-based teams to optimize HCP support and customer service.
  • Deliver approved medical and scientific education relevant to disease state and Arcellx products.
  • Share insights from external thought leaders and HCPs to inform medical strategies and future clinical programs.
  • Represent Arcellx at medical and scientific conferences.
  • Partner with clinical operations to support the execution of clinical trials.
  • Domestic travel of approximately 50-70% will be required.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, or PhD) with 2+ years of relevant experience in hematologic malignancy or cell therapy preferred. Master’s degree (RN, RPh, PA, NP, etc.) considered if extensive clinical/medical affairs experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in MSL/Medical Affairs in relevant area; senior level considered for experienced candidates.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems and access environments.
  • Ability to partner, influence, and collaborate across functions and leadership levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong integrity.
  • Agile, adaptable, results-oriented.
  • Resides within the contiguous territory.

Education
