Main Responsibilities
- Build needs-based peer-to-peer relationships with HCPs and KOLs; adapt scientific content to provider needs.
- Identify mutual collaboration opportunities and develop/implement territory-specific strategic medical action plans aligned to the country medical plan.
- Communicate product benefits/risks, appropriate use, and clinical value accurately and balanced.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision; develop healthcare networks across national/regional/local levels.
- Generate and share actionable insights and propose timely solutions/actions using available tools.
- Gather external healthcare observations/data and communicate internally to support medical strategy and β€œvoice of KOL/HCP.”
- Co-execute the country medical plan with office-based medical colleagues; maintain internal stakeholder network.
- Provide scientific support for internal functions (commercial, market access, regulatory/PV, R&D) including scientific trainings/updates.
- Complete MSL SOP and corporate compliance trainings; complete MSL onboarding/certification; maintain scientific engagement/insights processes; build therapy area expertise and transversal skills; create an individual development plan.

Qualifications
- Medical, Pharmacy, or post-graduate science degree (e.g., PharmD, MD/DO, DNP, PhD, PA).
- Preferred: Clinical experience in Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and/or immunology.
- Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical industry, MSL role, or relevant clinical setting.
- Fluent business English (written/spoken).
- In-depth diabetes therapeutic/clinical knowledge and portfolio/pipeline familiarity.
- Live in the territory; strong understanding of local T1D healthcare landscape.
- Strong communication/presentation and stakeholder networking skills.
- Familiarity with omnichannel tools and ability to communicate digitally from remote.
- Understanding of clinical development/research; ability to critically evaluate protocols/reports/publications.
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and local regulatory processes.
- Strong business acumen and ethics; valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Travel: 60–80%.
