Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in oncology, with senior-level responsibilities for Verastem Oncology's investigational therapies, including KRAS-mutated ovarian cancer. Primary objectives include engaging healthcare providers, providing education on company products, supporting research collaborations, and increasing visibility within the oncology community. Responsibilities encompass building relationships with investigators and institutions, facilitating clinical research, delivering scientific education, and representing the company at professional forums. Senior MSLs may lead strategic initiatives, develop educational content, and mentor junior staff. Requirements: advanced degree (MSN, PharmD, PhD) with 3+ years in oncology, prior industry or MSL experience preferred, deep therapeutic knowledge especially in gynecologic oncology, strong communication and strategic thinking skills, and familiarity with treatment guidelines (NCCN, ASCO, ESMO). Travel of 60-70% is expected, covering FL, AL, MS, with preference for candidates in Greater Miami, Orlando, or Tampa. High-value specifics include focus on gynecologic oncology, investigational agents, clinical research, and stakeholder engagement within the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, with emphasis on compliance and regulatory understanding.
