Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Rheumatology for Johnson & Johnson, covering South Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana. Objectives: Establish scientific leadership, engage healthcare professionals, and support medical strategy in immunology and immunological disorder treatments. Responsibilities: develop and execute territory-specific scientific engagement plans, build relationships with KOLs, facilitate high-quality scientific exchanges, gather and synthesize insights, support investigator-initiated research, and collaborate with internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance. Requirements: Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers), post-graduate experience, therapeutic or clinical research expertise, proficiency in data analysis, clinical knowledge, and ability to travel up to 70%. Preferred: 2+ years in an MSL role, residency or fellowship, board certification, and experience in immunology or related fields. High-Value: Immunology/Rheumatology therapeutic area, scientific engagement, investigator support, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Work setup: field-based in major metro area (Houston preferred), with significant travel.
