Role: Immunology Pipeline Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting AstraZeneca's autoimmune disease programs, primarily in rheumatology and gastroenterology. Objectives: facilitate scientific exchange, support clinical trial engagement, and foster collaborations to advance the immunology pipeline. Responsibilities: build external relationships with investigators and healthcare providers, educate stakeholders on AstraZeneca’s portfolio, and support site and trial strategy, recruitment, and retention efforts. Qualifications: advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA-C), at least 2 years of field medical or clinical trial research experience, strong scientific communication skills, and knowledge of regulatory environments. Preferred: experience in rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, clinical research, and GCP/ICH familiarity; entrepreneurial mindset and network-building skills. High-Value: focus on novel immunomodulatory therapies including cell therapy and T cell engagers; supporting AstraZeneca’s immunology clinical trials across multiple phases; engaging with research sites, investigators, and R&D teams. Work setup: territory-based (Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Minneapolis, MN), with 50–70% travel.
