Role: Immunology Pipeline Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting AstraZeneca's autoimmune disease programs, primarily in rheumatology and gastroenterology. Objectives: facilitate scientific dialogue, support clinical trial engagement, and foster collaborations across the immunology pipeline. Responsibilities: build relationships with investigators, healthcare providers, and clinical sites; educate on AstraZeneca's immunology portfolio; support site strategy and trial recruitment by mapping disease networks, assessing feasibility, and resolving site issues; collaborate with R&D and medical affairs teams to inform trial design and site selection. Requirements: advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA-C), minimum 2 years in field medical roles (MSL, Clinical Trial Liaison) or clinical research experience; strong scientific communication skills; knowledge of regulatory environment; willingness to travel 50-70%. Preferred: experience in rheumatology, gastroenterology, or neurology; familiarity with GCP/ICH; industry or clinical research background; entrepreneurial mindset and network-building skills.
