Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neuropsychiatry β€” Pacific Northwest

Responsibilities:
- Identify disease/product medical needs in assigned geography; develop/maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs).
- Provide meaningful scientific exchange for medical education, data/insight generation, appropriate use of BMS medicines, and facilitate research.
- Answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR-related questions using multiple interaction channels (1:1, group, remote, etc.).
- Present accurate scientific information; ensure compliance with local procedures, ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess medical landscape; continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR, scientific activities) and monitor competitive landscape.
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned with BMS objectives.
- Attend congresses/meetings and communicate insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Develop Field Medical/TL Interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional account/institution planning and medical programs.
- Support internal training and provide scientific updates; support promotional meetings; participate in Congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional research: site identification, feasibility recommendations, ISR support/follow-up, pharmacovigilance document adherence and AE alerting, and CRO-sponsored study support.

Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) AND 3–5 years MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia; proven collegial relationships with external experts.

Knowledge/Skills Desired:
- Disease area & scientific publication understanding; clinical trial design; national healthcare/access; HEOR concepts; strong English (written/spoken); independent/team work; translating data for physicians; peer-to-peer relationships; learn new environments quickly; communicate/present effectively.

Essential/Travel:
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving/ethics.
- Travel required; live within territory or within 50 miles of borders; majority field time.
