The Position
Field-based Medical Science Liaison supporting Organon’s Women’s Health programs (territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD). Provides medical/scientific support through scientific exchange, customer inquiry responses, data presentations, and regional/national clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and key stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical/scientific/technical expertise in Women’s Health.
- Present data and facilitate balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue consistent with company policies.
- Collaborate on scientific communication planning, medical-to-medical materials, and research (incl. investigator-initiated trials; work with Clinical Development on investigator selection and site performance/recruitment).
- Support scientific training for internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Provide scientific expertise/support for speaker training and advisory boards.
- Represent Organon at national/regional medical meetings; support Medical Information booth activities as needed; share insights to inform strategy.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and document requests per policies.
Required Education/Experience/Skills
- PharmD/PhD/MD/NP/PA or equivalent.
- 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Women’s Health experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and drive medical engagement goals.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies; ability to evaluate/translate scientific material.
- Travel up to ~50% (local/regional/national), as appropriate.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive; comfortable with ambiguity; can manage multiple competing timelines and work independently.
- Excellent written/oral communication for senior stakeholders.
