Medical Science Liaison - Pacific Northwest

The Medical Science Liaison is a field-based professional providing medical and scientific support for Organon’s Women’s Health programs.
Territory includes: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with HCPs, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in Women’s Health.
- Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate on scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research; support investigator-initiated trials and work with Clinical Development on investigator selection and site performance.
- Assist with scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Provide scientific support for speaker training and advisory boards (as requested).
- Represent Organon at national and regional medical meetings to drive awareness and scientific exchange.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information per policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or equivalent.
- 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Women’s Health experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify medical engagement opportunities and define/drive goals.
- Understanding of clinical research methodologies; ability to independently evaluate and translate scientific materials.
- Travel locally/regionally/nationally up to ~50% (when appropriate).
- Self-starter; thrives in fast-paced environments; can manage competing timelines and work independently; handles ambiguity.
- Excellent written and oral communication; presents to senior stakeholders.
