Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Obesity, serving as a scientific/clinical resource within the U.S. to healthcare providers, opinion leaders, and population health decision makers. Primary objectives involve advancing Amgen's scientific platform, supporting clinical research, and improving patient outcomes through peer-to-peer engagement and data dissemination.

Responsibilities include: engaging with opinion leaders, community healthcare providers, and clinical investigators; supporting and potentially leading research initiatives; providing scientific insights to internal teams; supporting congress activities and speaker training; and maintaining compliance and administrative duties.

Requirements: Doctorate degree (Ph.D., MD, DO, Pharm.D.) or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates with 1+ years of Medical Affairs or clinical research experience, particularly in cardiometabolic or obesity fields. Preferred skills include strong communication, stakeholder relationship management, and familiarity with the biotech/pharmaceutical landscape.
