Position: Medical Science Liaison (field-based)
Territory: ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, payers, decision makers, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in Womenβs Health.
- Present data and conduct balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with HCPs, academic institutions, clinical investigators, and other stakeholders per company policies/procedures.
- Collaborate on scientific communication plans, medical-to-medical materials, and research; support investigator-initiated trials and partner with Clinical Development on investigator selection and site performance/recruitment.
- Assist with scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues using approved materials.
- Provide scientific expertise for speaker training and advisory boards, as requested.
- Represent the company at national and regional medical meetings; support Medical Information booth activities as needed; gather and share real-world insights.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests while following policies and documenting requests.
Qualifications/Required Education & Experience:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA or equivalent.
- 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
Preferred:
- Womenβs Health experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong relationship building; excellent interpersonal skills (1:1 and group).
- Strong communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to identify medical engagement opportunities and drive scientific engagement goals.
- Clear understanding of clinical research methodologies and ability to evaluate/translate scientific material.
- Travel locally/regionally/nationally up to ~50% (when appropriate).
- Self-starter; ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; manage multiple timelines and work independently.
- Ability to overcome ambiguity; excellent written/oral communication.
