Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison - Northeast. Field-based medical expert supporting ARSβ€šΓ„Γ΄s products and therapeutic areas by advancing scientific and collaborative relationships and exchanging knowledge with external healthcare communities and internal stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes. Responsible for educating internal and external stakeholders on the science behind and appropriate use of ARS products, and for generating medical-scientific knowledge through special projects. Position covers several states in the Northeast (NY, MA, VT, NH, ME); candidates must live within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain medical-scientific knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas; interpret and disseminate scientific, clinical, and health economic data, and evaluate new information related to ARS products.
  • Identify, cultivate, and integrate KOL relationships in therapeutic areas; identify opportunities for scientific growth and generation of medical evidence to expand current utilization and support mutual interest initiatives such as research and CME.
  • Develop and manage KOL relationships to support company objectives and enhance ARSβ€šΓ„Γ΄s reputation as a scientifically innovative partner.
  • Deliver programs aligned with objectives; educate internal audiences (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, R&D, Sales) and external audiences (healthcare professionals, consumers, patient organizations, distributors) with clear, balanced medical-scientific information.
  • Provide high-level information regarding ARSβ€šΓ„Γ΄s Investigator Study (IIS) program; monitor and communicate progress for IISs that are approved and supported.

Qualifications

  • PharmD/Doctoral level degree preferred; RN/MSN or similar advanced degree with strong relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 3β€šΓ„Γ¬5 years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry required.
  • Strong preference for experience within allergy/immunology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MSL functions, medical planning, and engagement with medical experts.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Ability to travel 60%β€šΓ„Γ¬75% of time, including overnights and weekends as necessary.
  • Customer focus; solid interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with credibility and trust.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a dynamic, field-based environment; able to work independently (remote position).
  • Strong presentation and writing skills; results-oriented and self-motivated.
