Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neuropsychiatry (Virginia, West Virginia)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders in territory; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions via 1:1, group presentations, and remote channels.
- Use scientific resources to present accurate information and respond to questions in compliance with ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR; address evolving informational needs.
- Identify partnerships with HCPs for disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned to strategic objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy and business decisions.
- Create geography-specific field/TL interaction plans; support scientifically meaningful medical programs.
- Provide medical support: compliant collaboration with field teams; training and scientific updates to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings.
- Support clinical trials: interventional/NIR studies (site identification/feasibility), ISR support, pharmacovigilance document understanding, adverse event alerting, and CRO-sponsored studies.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) plus 3–5 years of MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia with proven success building collegial relationships.

Knowledge/Skills Desired
- Disease/publications and competitive landscape; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR concepts.
- Excellent English (written/spoken); independent work; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationships; rapid learning.

Essential/Travel
- Must be able to drive a company-provided car; responsible/safe driving history.
- Travel required; live within territory or within 50 miles; majority of time in the field.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- US $166,090–$201,262 (field, US). Benefits include health coverage, wellbeing programs, and financial protection; paid time off.
