Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neuropsychiatry (Virginia, West Virginia)

Responsibilities
- Identify disease/product medical needs in assigned geography; develop/maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and HCPs.
- Answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions via 1:1, group, remote, etc.; present accurate information and respond to questions.
- Assess medical landscape; stay current on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and competitive healthcare trends.
- Partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR).
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy/business decisions.
- Develop geography-specific field/TL interaction plans and contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams; support training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support promotional meetings and congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional research: site feasibility, ISR submission/execution, pharmacovigilance documentation/AE reporting, and CRO-sponsored studies.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) AND 3–5 years MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia with proven collegial relationships with external experts.

Knowledge/Experience Desired
- Disease/clinical publication knowledge; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access; HEOR concepts; strong English.
- 3–5+ years MSL/clinical practice; independent/teamwork; translate data; communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationships; quick learning; demonstrate BMS values.

Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car.
- Live within territory or within 50 miles; field-based with majority time in field; travel required.

Compensation/Benefits (as listed)
- US Field base salary: $166,090–$201,262.
