Medical Science Liaison, Neuropsychiatry (VA, West VA)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders in territory; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions via 1:1, group, and remote interactions.
- Use scientific resources to present accurate information and respond to questions per ethical/legal and local procedures.
- Assess medical landscape; continuously update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR; understand competitive landscape.
- Partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and ISR aligned with BMS objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/local meetings and communicate insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Build geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning.
- Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams; support training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and support BMS-contracted speakers (if applicable).
- Support clinical trials (interventional/non-interventional): identify sites, provide feasibility insights, support ISR submission/execution/follow-up, apply pharmacovigilance procedures, and support CRO-sponsored studies.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, PA-C, etc.) AND 3–5 years MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia with a proven track record with external experts.

Knowledge/Experience Desired
- Disease area and publications; clinical trial design; HEOR concepts; national healthcare/access environment; English (spoken/written).
- 3–5+ years MSL/clinical practice; independent/team skills; translate data for physicians; communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationships; rapid learning; demonstrate BMS values.

Essential Qualification / Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving/ethics.
- Travel required; live within territory or within 50 miles of territory borders.

Compensation/Benefits (explicit)
- Field (US): $166,090–$201,262. Incentive cash/stock may be available. Health, wellbeing, 401(k), disability/life/insurance, and paid time off (per eligibility).
