Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neuropsychiatry β New York City
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions via 1:1, group, and remote channels.
- Use scientific resources to present and respond accurately and compliantly to TL/HCP questions.
- Assess the medical landscape; continuously update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR; understand competitive landscape to address customer informational needs.
- Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned to BMS objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; communicate medical insights to internal teams.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical and TL interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans; deliver medically meaningful programs.
- Provide medical support and training; present scientific/clinical data at promotional meetings.
- Support interventional and non-interventional research (site ID/assessment, feasibility input, ISR support, follow-up, pharmacovigilance documentation/AE escalation, CRO study support).
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.) AND 3β5 years MSL or clinical practice experience.
- Current MSL or clinical practice experience in psychiatry/mental health/schizophrenia with proven collegial relationship track record.
Knowledge/Experience Desired
- Disease area + publications; clinical trial design; competitive landscape/patient trends; national healthcare access; HEOR core concepts; strong English.
- 3β5 years MSL and/or clinical practice; independent/team work; translating data; peer-to-peer relationships; communication/presentation.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car.
- Travel required; live within territory or within 50 miles of territory borders.
Compensation & Benefits (high level)
- US $166,090β$201,262; additional incentives possible.
