Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in neurodegeneration, responsible for peer-to-peer scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and thought leaders in Michigan (Ann Arbor, Lansing). Objectives include translating scientific data into clinical practice, supporting product launches, and providing clinical insights to internal teams. Responsibilities encompass developing trusted relationships with neurology TLs, engaging in scientific dialogue, supporting clinical trial activities, and addressing medical questions via virtual and face-to-face channels. The MSL also provides feedback on clinical development and study feasibility, supports investigator-led studies, and collaborates with external medical societies and patient advocacy groups. Qualifications: MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent with significant neurology expertise; field-based medical or clinical research experience; deep understanding of clinical practice, trial design, and healthcare environment; strong communication, scientific agility, and data interpretation skills. Preferred: experience in neurology, familiarity with RWE, and proficiency with digital engagement tools. High-Value: neurology/neurodegeneration focus, field-based role, engagement with thought leaders, clinical trial support, and virtual medical on-call capabilities planned for 2024/5. Work setup: field-based within Michigan, requiring travel and residence within or near assigned territory.
