Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neurodegeneration (Ohio/Western PA)

Responsibilities
- Identify disease/product medical needs in defined geography.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and HCPs; provide meaningful scientific exchange to support patients’ access and safe/appropriate use.
- Answer unsolicited scientific/product/HEOR questions using available resources; present accurate information and respond to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape; stay current on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR; understand competitive landscape.
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR) aligned to strategy.
- Attend congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy.
- Build geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning.
- Support internal training and provide scientific updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support promotional meeting scientific needs; participate in congress activities.
- Support clinical trial activities: NIR site identification, feasibility input, ISR submission/execution support, pharmacovigilance document adherence/AE alerting, and CRO-sponsored studies.

Required/Desired Qualifications & Skills
- MD/PharmD/PhD/APP/PA/NP with neuroscience or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Minimum 2 years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience preferred.
- Knowledge: disease area/publications, clinical trial design/process, national healthcare/access environment, HEOR concepts; excellent English (spoken/written).
- Strong communication/presentation; independent, team-oriented; translate scientific/clinical data for physicians; develop peer-to-peer relationships.

Essential
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; responsible/safe driving.
- Travel required; live in territory or within 50 miles.

Compensation (explicit)
- $166,090–$201,262 (field, US).
