Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Neurodegeneration (Ohio/Western PA; field based)
Responsibilities:
- Identify disease/product medical needs in assigned geography; develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and HCPs.
- Engage in scientific exchange (1:1, group, remote) to support medical education, safe/appropriate medicine use, and research.
- Assess the medical landscape; stay current on treatment strategies, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR; understand competitive landscape.
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR).
- Attend medical congresses/meetings and communicate insights back to medical/commercial teams.
- Plan and execute field/TL interaction activities; contribute to cross-functional institution/account planning.
- Provide medical support and training updates to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings.
- Support clinical trial activities (NIR/interventional studies, site feasibility, ISR execution, pharmacovigilance document adherence, alerting adverse events; support CRO-sponsored studies).
Required Experience/Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with neuroscience experience or broad medical background and relevant pharma experience.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car.
- Travel required; live in territory or within 50 miles.
Knowledge/Skills Desired:
- Disease/publication knowledge; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access; HEOR concepts.
- Excellent English (written/spoken); strong communication/presentation; independent/teamwork; prior MSL experience preferred; peer-to-peer relationship building.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit):
- Salary range (US Field): $166,090–$201,262.
