Role Summary
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role covering Neuro-Oncology in the Northeast (Remote) with field-based responsibilities; develops and maintains relationships with medical thought leaders, provides scientific exchange and clinical support, and collaborates across Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams to align engagement with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- KOL Development and Field Engagement: identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers; develop and execute territory plans; identify and communicate clinical and research insights from KOLs; participate in medical education for healthcare professionals; provide scientific support for activities such as medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
- Positions Self as Scientific Expert: maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapy area, products, emerging research, and competitive landscape; establish reputation as a trustworthy source; attend scientific congresses to support KOL activities; understand local and national protocols and disease management trends; provide clinical presentations in academic and healthcare settings; communicate emerging data objectively; support data generation activities.
- Medical Affairs Planning and Plan Execution: contribute to US Medical Plan and local strategies; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure Key Account Management; coordinate with Commercial, Clinical Development, and Market Access; interact with HCPs as a scientific resource for activities aligned with the Medical Plan.
- Responsible For Maintaining Company Standards And Jazz Values: ethical behavior, scientific exchange with healthcare providers, adverse event reporting, adherence to Codes of Practice, personal development planning, timely reporting.
Qualifications
- Required: strong ability to communicate complex scientific information; clear presentation skills; high attention to detail and organization; strategic mindset; highly self-motivated; ability to work autonomously; quick learner with flexibility; strong negotiation, relationship-building, and teamwork skills; experience collaborating with commercial teams while maintaining scientific integrity; proficiency with digital platforms; excellent English.
- Preferred: success supporting product launches in field medical capacity; experience managing multiple molecules or therapeutic areas; track record in clinical trial site support and patient recruitment; understanding regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
- Education/Licenses: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) with at least 3 years in Oncology or Rare Disease; or License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with Masterβs and at least 5 years in Oncology or Rare Disease clinical practice; minimum 2 years as MSL or equivalent; neuro-oncology experience strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements
