Field-based Medical Science Liaison (covering CT, NYC, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, NC).
Essential Functions
- KOL Development & Field Engagement: Identify/develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs/HCPs; execute territory plans; share clinical/research insights; provide medical education via on-site presentations, meetings, conferences, advisory boards; support medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training.
- Scientific Expert: Maintain high-level therapy area/product knowledge; establish credibility as a scientific information source; support Jazz positioning; understand US protocols and disease management trends; answer unsolicited questions; communicate emerging data objectively; support data generation (studies/collaboration/ISTs).
- Medical Affairs Planning: Contribute to US Medical Plan; provide local input; manage relevant budget when needed; collaborate on Key Account Management; support activities aligned to the Medical Plan (advisory boards, speaker development, clinical trials).
- Maintain Standards/Jazz Values: Promote medical advancement; document/report adverse events/product complaints; adhere to Codes of Practice; act ethically/integrity; prepare timely reports.
Required
- Neuro-oncology experience; ability to analyze/communicate complex data; strong communication/presentation, planning, strategy, autonomy, rapid learning; negotiation; relationship-building/collaboration; digital tools; English proficiency; travel at least 60% (driving required).
- Education/Licenses: PharmD/MD/PhD (or equivalent) + 3+ years neuro-oncology OR RN/NP/CNP/PA (or equivalent) + Masterβs + 5+ years clinical practice; 2+ years MSL or comparable role; valid driverβs license and live within 60 miles of a major airport; willing to travel 60β70%.
Preferred
- Prior MSL success; knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts; demonstrated KOL trust-building; regulatory understanding for field-based personnel.

- Base pay range: $160,000β$240,000; possible bonus/incentive and discretionary equity; medical/dental/vision, 401(k), flexible paid vacation.
