Essential Functions
KOL Development and Field Engagement:
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers.
- Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with US Medical Affairs plans.
- Identify and communicate key clinical and research issues and insights from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Participate in medical education for healthcare professionals via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, national conferences, advisory boards, or regional meetings.
- Provide scientific support for medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.

Positions self as Scientific Expert:
- Maintain high-level knowledge of the therapy area, Jazz products, research trends, therapeutic issues, and competitive landscape.
- Establish a reputation as a trusted source of scientific/medical information.
- Deliver clinical presentations and scientific information in group and one-on-one settings.
- Communicate emerging data and product clinical experience objectively (benefits/risks).
- Support data generation activities (company-sponsored studies, collaboration studies, ISTs).

Medical Affairs Planning and Plan Execution:
- Contribute to development of the US Medical Plan and provide input into local strategies/tactics.
- Where needed, manage relevant budgets to execute Medical Plan tactics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for Key Account Management.
- Interact with HCPs aligned with the Medical Plan (advisory boards, speaker development, clinical trials).

Maintain company standards and values:
- Engage HCPs in meaningful scientific exchange.
- Document/forward adverse events and product complaints per company policy.
- Adhere to national/local Codes of Practice; act ethically with integrity.

Required:
- Experience in neuro-oncology.
- Ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex scientific/medical information.
- Clear communication/presentation skills; strong planning/organization and attention to detail.
- Strong strategic mindset; self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Excellent negotiation skills; relationship building/networking/collaboration.
- Strong capability with digital platforms/tools; excellent spoken English.
- Travel at least 60% of workdays (driving required).

Preferred:
- MSL experience with strong track record.
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.

Education/Licenses:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalent) + minimum 3 years neuro-oncology OR
- License (RN/NP/CNP/PA or equivalent) + Master’s (or equivalent) + minimum 5 years clinical practice.
- Minimum 2 years as MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Willing to travel 60–70% time; valid driver’s license; live within 60 miles of a major airport.
