Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and HCPs in the therapeutic area.
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research insights to appropriate departments.
- Participate in medical education via on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings.
- Provide scientific support for medical congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date, high-level knowledge of the therapy area and competitive landscape; support Jazz as scientific authority.
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in group and one-on-one settings.
- Communicate emerging data objectively; support data generation activities (company-sponsored studies, collaborations, ISTs).
- Contribute to the US Medical Plan; provide input to local strategies; manage relevant budget where needed.
- Maintain ethical conduct; document/report adverse events and product complaints; adhere to national/local Codes of Practice.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Neuro-oncology experience.
- Advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) with 3+ years neuro-oncology.
- OR RN/NP/CNP/PA (or equivalent) with Masterβs (or equivalent) and 5+ years clinical practice.
- 2+ years as an MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Strong communication/presentation, planning, strategic mindset, autonomy, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with digital tools.
- Travel 60%+ (60β70%); valid driverβs license; live within 60 miles of a major airport.
Preferred:
- Prior MSL success; knowledge of healthcare geography/environment; trust-building with opinion leaders; understanding field-based regulatory requirements.
