Essential Functions
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and HCPs; execute territory plans aligned with US Medical Affairs.
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research insights from KOLs to appropriate departments.
- Participate in medical education for HCPs (on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, regional meetings).
- Provide scientific support for congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
- Maintain high-level therapy/product knowledge; establish trust as a scientific and medical information resource.
- Support Jazz positioning as scientific authority; stay current via scientific congresses.
- Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions (as appropriate), group and 1:1.
- Communicate emerging data objectively; support data generation (sponsored studies, collaborations, ISTs).
- Contribute to US Medical Plan; provide local strategy input; manage relevant budget when needed.
- Support activities aligned with the Medical Plan (advisory boards, speaker development, clinical trials).
- Document adverse events/product complaints per policy; adhere to codes of practice; act with integrity.
Required
- Neuro-oncology experience.
- Research/critical analysis and communication of complex scientific/medical information.
- Clear communication/presentation; planning/organization; strategic mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously; learn quickly; flexible/results-focused.
- Negotiation skills; relationship-building/collaboration/teamwork.
- Strong digital tool capability; excellent spoken English.
- Travel 60%+ workdays; driving required.
Preferred
- MSL experience with strong track record.
- Knowledge of geography/healthcare environment and external experts; regulatory requirements for field personnel.
Required Education/Licenses
- Advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) with 3+ years neuro-oncology.
- OR license (RN/NP/CNP/PA or equivalent) with Masterβs+ and 5+ years clinical practice.
- 2+ years MSL or comparable industry/clinical role.
- Field role: travel 60β70%; valid driverβs license; live within 60 miles of a major airport.
Benefits/Compensation (US candidates only)
- Base pay range: $160,000β$240,000; eligible for annual bonus/incentives, equity grants, medical/dental/vision, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
