Role: Medical Science Liaison supporting PTC's rare disease products, particularly in inborn errors of metabolism and genetics. Objectives include building scientific relationships with KOLs, clinicians, academic centers, and payors; providing clinical expertise; and supporting medical initiatives. Responsibilities encompass attending medical meetings, delivering scientific presentations, identifying speakers for advisory boards, supporting regional initiatives, and maintaining market intelligence on therapeutics and competitors. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and company SOPs, facilitating research grants and study support.

Qualifications: Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.) with at least 2 years of MSL experience, preferably supporting orphan or rare disease therapies such as Phenylketonuria. Experience with high-cost, specialty pharmacy-distributed products, and working with stakeholders including HCPs, payors, and academic institutions is required. Strong scientific/data interpretation, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

The position involves 50-60% travel, including overnight and extensive regional travel.
