Responsibilities involve attending medical meetings, delivering scientific presentations, identifying speakers for advisory activities, supporting regional medical initiatives, and monitoring market and competitor insights. The role also entails facilitating educational grants, ensuring regulatory and compliance adherence, and maintaining stakeholder relations. Requirements include an advanced scientific degree (e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD) with at least 2 years of MSL experience, prior exposure to orphan drugs and rare diseases, particularly phenylketonuria, and experience supporting high-cost specialty products requiring coordination with patient access. Essential skills encompass scientific data interpretation, strong communication, and relationship-building with healthcare professionals and payers. The position demands 50-60% travel, field-based work, and daily access to medical facilities, with overnight travel as needed. Preferred qualifications are experience with orphan and rare disease therapies. The role is office-based with significant field interaction, supporting cross-functional collaboration within a regulated, GxP environment.
