Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Mel/GI/Breast Oncology (Field: CO, WA, OR, AK)
Role Summary:
- Engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with Regional/National Thought Leaders and HCPs to translate science into patient care.
- Capture medical insights and serve as clinical/scientific advisor to cross-functional partners; align interactions with enterprise/medical strategy.
- Provide educational dialogue and share relevant clinical evidence per field medical plan.
- Real-time medical support for unsolicited HCP questions (including Medical on Call).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop trusted oncology Thought Leader relationships (proactive/reactive; 1:1, groups, virtual).
- Collaborate to build/product/disease-area-focused medical plans supporting launch and lifecycle management (LCM); engage medical societies, PAGs, guideline committees; train external speakers as needed.
- Clinical trial engagement: advise on study feasibility, support investigational research recruitment/site needs, lead evidence read-outs, support ISR submission/execution/follow-up, ensure pharmacovigilance processes are understood and escalate AEs.
Required Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in a disease area/broad medical or relevant pharma experience.
- Scientific/clinical research environment experience (field medical expertise preferred).
- Deep TL environment knowledge; strong oncology experience.
