Role Summary
Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – Non-Alliance – Pacific Northwest (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA). Remote/field role supporting immunology portfolio through scientific engagement with external stakeholders and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge of disease pathophysiology and management protocols to articulate the medical and scientific value of our products to external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders.
- Plan territory and stakeholder engagement interactions using the Scientific Engagement Model, aligned with the Field-Based Medical Activity Plan.
- Generate and execute activities aligned with medical objectives within an assigned territory.
- Evaluate information from published studies and stakeholder interactions to inform medical strategy.
- Stay abreast of medical developments and assist with evidence generation plans to enhance real-world value of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Support clinical trials in collaboration with R&D Field Medical Directors and the Clinical Studies Unit.
- Respond to unsolicited requests regarding investigator-sponsored studies (ISS) and support ISS submissions.
- Organize educational meetings or local scientific advisory boards when requested.
- Support medical initiatives at conferences and provide speaker training.
- Respond to medical information requests and provide site support to accelerate patient recruitment.
- Deliver and coordinate site engagement and share insights with study teams and cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to innovative process improvements and uphold professional and ethical standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field (e.g., APP, MD, PharmD, PhD).
- Work Experience: Minimum 1-year previous MSL experience and/or clinical/industry experience required.
- Respiratory/Allergy/Pulmonary/Immunology experience preferred.
