Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions in a defined geography.
- Provide accurate, compliant scientific exchange with TL/HCPs (1:1, group, remote), including presentations and Q&A.
- Assess the medical landscape; continuously update knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships (disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned with strategy objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/meetings and communicate meaningful medical insights to support medical/commercial decisions.
- Contribute to geography-specific Field Medical and TL interaction plans and develop/deliver medical programs.
- Provide medical/scientific training and updates to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings and Congress activities.
- Support interventional and non-interventional studies (site identification/feasibility), ISR processes, and apply pharmacovigilance documentation; support CRO-sponsored studies.
Position Requirements / Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with relevant pharmaceutical experience and disease-area/broad medical background.
- Knowledge of scientific publications; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR concepts; competitive landscape/patient treatment trends.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
- Experience desired: 2+ years in clinical/pharma environment; prior MSL experience.
- Ability to work independently, communicate/present effectively, build peer-to-peer relationships, translate data for physicians, and learn quickly.
- Ability to drive a company-provided car (ethics/integrity and safe driving history).
- Travel required; field-based; live in territory or within 50 miles.
