Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology — Field (VA)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain relationships with academic/community thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders; answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Deliver accurate, compliant scientific presentations and 1:1/group/remote interactions; assess medical landscape and unmet needs.
- Continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR/outcomes).
- Identify partnership opportunities (disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, investigator-sponsored research).
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; provide medical insights to medical/commercial teams.
- Create geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans and support cross-functional account planning.
- Provide medical support/training to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings.
- Support interventional and non-interventional research, investigator feasibility, ISR submission/execution follow-up, and pharmacovigilance awareness (report adverse events).
Position Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with relevant disease-area or broad pharmaceutical experience.
- Knowledge of disease area/publications, clinical trial design/process, national healthcare/access environment, and HEOR concepts.
- Excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired
- 2+ years in clinical/pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
- Independent, strong communication/presentation skills; ability to build peer-to-peer relationships; rapid learning.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; high ethics/integrity; safe driving history.
- Travel required; field-based and must live in/near territory (within 50 miles).
