Position Requirements/Responsibilities
- Identify disease and product-related medical needs in assigned geography.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs); provide scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR exchange.
- Present information to TL/HCPs; respond to questions with medical accuracy and compliance.
- Assess medical landscape and continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR).
- Partner with HCPs on disease initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR) aligned to company objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/local meetings; collect and share medical insights to support strategy and business decisions.
- Contribute to geography-specific medical/TL interaction plans and cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Provide medical support and scientific training/updates to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings.
- Support clinical trial activities: interventional/non-interventional research, site feasibility, ISR follow-up, pharmacovigilance document understanding/AE alerting, and CRO-sponsored studies.
Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in a disease area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Knowledge of scientific publications, clinical trial design/process, national healthcare/access environment, and HEOR core concepts; excellent English (spoken/written).
Experience Desired
- 2+ years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience preferred.
Essential/Travel
- Drive a company-provided car; high ethics/integrity and safe driving history.
- Travel required; field-based; live in territory or within 50 miles.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable)
- $166,090–$201,262 (US field, FTE). Health coverage and paid time off are included (details subject to plan/eligibility).
