Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology
Location: Field – NJ, Philadelphia
Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain relationships with thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group, remote) and present/respond with medical accuracy and compliance.
- Assess the medical landscape and continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, trials, outcomes research).
- Partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and ISR aligned with BMS objectives; attend congresses/meetings.
- Contribute to geography-specific Field Medical/TL interaction plans and cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Provide compliant collaboration with cross-matrix field teams; support internal training and scientific updates.
- Support promotional meetings and Congress activities.
- Support interventional and non-interventional research (site identification, feasibility input, ISR support, pharmacovigilance document adherence, adverse event alerting; CRO-sponsored study support).
Qualifications/Required Skills
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with relevant pharmaceutical experience in a disease area or broad medical background.
- Disease area knowledge; understanding of scientific publications.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Experience Desired
- 2+ years in clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience.
- Independent, team-oriented; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving/ethics.
- Travel required; field-based; live in territory or within 50 miles.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- $166,090–$201,262 (field, US); additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
