Position: Medical Science Liaison, Immunology (Field - N.TX, OK)

Role Summary
- Identify disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography and drive scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation, and patients’ access to medicine.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and serve as a medical resource for external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic/community research thought leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use multiple interaction channels (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.); demonstrate proficiency with scientific resources and presentations.
- Present information and respond to questions with medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess the medical landscape by meeting with TLs/HCPs/access stakeholders to understand needs and expertise.
- Continuously update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, and health economics/outcomes research.
- Understand the competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models; prepare to address customer informational needs.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research aligned to strategic objectives.
- Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings; collect and communicate meaningful medical insights to medical and commercial organizations.
- Develop geography-specific field medical and TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning and cross-functional account plans.
- Establish compliant, customer-centric collaboration with cross-matrix field teams; support training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and participate in congress activities.
- Support clinical trial activities, including NIR/interventional research site identification, feasibility recommendations, ISR support/follow-up, pharmacovigilance document understanding and adverse event alerting, and CRO-sponsored study support.

Position Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with experience in a specific disease area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Disease area knowledge; understanding of scientific publications.
- Knowledge of scientific/clinical area, competitive landscape, and patient treatment trends.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design/process; national healthcare and access environment; HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).

Experience Desired
- Minimum 2 years working in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment.
- Prior MSL experience.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player; translate scientific/clinical data for physicians; strong communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to build peer-to-peer relationships and quickly learn new subject areas; demonstrate company values.

Essential Qualifications
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving history and high ethics/integrity.

Travel Requirement
- Travel required; field-based role requiring residence in the territory managed (or within 50 miles of territory borders).

- $166,090–$201,262 (Field - United States)
