Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Immunology – Field (East TN, East KY)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop/maintain relationships with academic/community thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to address scientific, unsolicited product, and HEOR questions.
- Use multiple channels (1:1, group, remote) to present accurate, compliant medical/scientific information; respond to questions.
- Assess the medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR, and scientific activities.
- Understand competitive landscape; prepare to address customer informational needs.
- Identify partnerships with HCPs (disease initiatives, collaborative research, ISR) aligned to strategic objectives.
- Attend medical congresses/local meetings; provide medical insights to support strategy/business decisions.
- Create geography-specific field/TL interaction plans; contribute to institution/account planning and local medical programs.
- Collaborate with cross-matrix field teams; support training and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific support at promotional meetings and support Congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional studies (site identification, feasibility input, ISR support); ensure pharmacovigilance document understanding and report adverse events; support CRO studies.
Position Requirements (Qualifications/Skills)
- MD/PhD/PharmD/APP/PA/NP with disease-area experience or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Disease area and scientific publication knowledge; clinical trial design/process knowledge.
- Knowledge of clinical/competitive/patient trends, national healthcare/access environment, and HEOR core concepts.
- Excellent English (written/spoken).
- Preferred: 2+ years clinical/pharma experience; prior MSL experience; independent/team player; strong communication/presentation and peer-to-peer relationship building.
- Essential: ability to drive a company-provided car; safe driving/ethics.
- Travel required; live in territory or within 50 miles.

Compensation
