Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Hematology within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines division, covering West Los Angeles and Central Valley California. Objectives: Serve as scientific expert, foster relationships with key healthcare professionals, and provide balanced, non-promotional medical information to support product understanding and research activities. Responsibilities: Develop and execute territory-specific scientific engagement plans, facilitate high-quality scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs, identify educational needs, support investigator-initiated studies, and generate actionable insights to inform medical strategy. Maintain compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Global teams), and stay current with scientific trends and emerging technologies like AI. Qualifications: Doctorate (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with at least 2+ years relevant experience, demonstrating success as an MSL or in a similar role, with therapeutic expertise in Hematology. Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel, valid US driver’s license preferred. High-value: Focus on oncology/hematology, supporting product education, investigator relationships, and scientific exchange, with an emphasis on compliance, strategic planning, and technological proficiency. Work setup: Field-based with travel in assigned region.
