Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Cell Therapy β€” Territory: Field (NJ, MD, DE)

Role Overview
- Field-based extension of US Medical Affairs.
- Develop and enhance professional relationships with medical thought leaders involved in product development.
- Provide medical information via scientific exchange and clinical/scientific support to Bristol Myers Squibb and Medical Affairs (direction of Medical Affairs management).
- Position requires established personal and scientific credibility and involves more than 50% travel.

Responsibilities
- Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish/maintain scientific relationships across academic and community centers.
- Serve as primary liaison to investigators on investigator-initiated research.
- Develop and execute geography-specific Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives and KOL needs.
- Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in group and one-on-one settings.
- Collaborate with the Clinical organization to enhance patient enrollment in BMS-sponsored clinical trials by identifying trial sites and interacting with investigators.
- Provide scientific support at medical congresses.
- Provide timely feedback/information on emerging clinical/scientific teams and opportunities to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications / Skills
- MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required.
- 3–5 years clinical or research experience in hematology OR 3–5 years as a medical science liaison.
- Cell therapy experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and across cross-functional networks.
- Working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations for industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to translate scientific/clinical data into understandable, valuable information for physicians to support patients.

Compensation / Benefits
- Field (United States): $168,220–$203,837.
