Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison, Cell Therapy (NE, IA, MN, N. & S. Dakota) for a field-based role supporting Bristol Myers Squibbโ€šร„รดs Medical Affairs organization, focusing on cell therapy across Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and the Dakotas. Travel requirement is >50% to engage with medical thought leaders and investigators in academic and community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish scientific relationships across academic and community centers.
  • Act as primary liaison to investigators developing and performing investigator-initiated research.
  • Develop and execute geography-specific Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans aligned with therapeutic objectives.
  • Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in academic, community, and healthcare-provider settings (group and one-on-one).
  • Collaborate with Clinical to enhance patient enrollment in BMS-sponsored trials by identifying sites and interacting with investigators.
  • Provide scientific support at medical congresses.
  • Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical/scientific opportunities.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required
  • 3-5 years clinical or research experience in hematology OR 3-5 years as an MSL
  • Cell therapy experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional networks
  • Knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines for interactions with health-care professionals
  • Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Ability to translate scientific/clinical data into understandable information for physicians
