Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Cardiovascular – Milvexian (Field: TN, KY)
Key Responsibilities
- Identify disease/product medical needs in assigned geography; develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs), Healthcare Providers (HCPs), and access stakeholders.
- Answer unsolicited scientific, product, and HEOR questions via 1:1/group/remote interactions; present accurate medical/scientific information and respond to questions.
- Assess medical landscape; continuously update knowledge (treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, HEOR).
- Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-sponsored research (ISR).
- Attend medical congresses/meetings; collect and communicate medical insights to support strategy/business decisions.
- Develop geography-specific field/TL interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans and medical programs.
- Provide medical/scientific training and updates to internal stakeholders; support promotional meetings.
- Support interventional and non-interventional studies (site identification, feasibility input, ISR support, pharmacovigilance document adherence, adverse event alerting, CRO-sponsored study support).
Position Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with relevant disease-area/broad medical background.
- Knowledge of scientific publications, clinical/trial design and process, national healthcare/access environment, and HEOR concepts; excellent written/spoken English.
Experience Desired
- 2+ years clinical/pharmaceutical environment; prior MSL experience; independent/team-oriented; strong peer-to-peer communication/presentation; ability to learn new subject areas.
Essential/Travel
- Ability to drive a company-provided car; travel required; live in territory or within 50 miles.
