Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Cardiovascular β Milvexian (Field β Michigan)
Role Responsibilities
- Identify disease/product-related medical needs in defined geography and develop/maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and HCPs.
- Provide unsolicited, scientific exchange and answer questions via 1:1, group, and remote channels.
- Present accurate medical/scientific information and ensure compliance with ethical/legal guidelines.
- Assess the medical landscape; update knowledge on treatment strategies, products, unmet needs, clinical trials, and HEOR.
- Understand competitive landscape and prepare to address customer informational needs.
- Identify opportunities for HCP partnership (disease state initiatives, collaborative research, ISR).
- Attend medical congresses/local meetings; collect/communicate medical insights to internal teams.
- Develop Field Medical/TL interaction plans; contribute to cross-functional institution/account plans.
- Support trainings and provide scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support promotional meetings and assigned Congress activities.
- Support interventional/non-interventional research: site feasibility, ISR submission/execution follow-up, pharmacovigilance document adherence/AE escalation, CRO-sponsored studies.
Qualifications / Skills
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with disease-area or broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Knowledge of scientific publications; clinical trial design/process; national healthcare/access environment; HEOR concepts.
- Excellent spoken/written English.
- Desired: 2+ years clinical/pharma experience; prior MSL experience; independence/teamwork; ability to translate data for physicians; strong communication/presentation; peer-to-peer relationship building; rapid learning; alignment with company values.
- Essential: ability to drive company-provided car; high ethics/integrity and safe driving history.
- Travel required; field-based; live in territory or within 50 miles.
