Medical Science Liaison - Cardiovascular - East Texas (Houston)

Key Responsibilities:
- Field-based, customer-facing non-promotional medical role advancing clinical practice in assigned territory (East Texas) to improve patient outcomes.
- Build scientific relationships with HCPs and thought leaders; engage in emerging data, clinical trials, unmet need, pipeline discussions, disease/product education, adverse event capture, and medical insights across the product lifecycle.
- Execute medical engagement and key account planning aligned to medical strategy (identify key stakeholders, partnership opportunities with academic centers/systems of care, involve HCPs/MEs when medical needs are identified, and coordinate internal collaborations).
- Provide clinical trial support for company-sponsored trials; collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
- Collaborate internally (HEOR, access, marketing, commercial, sales) to advance clinical practice with customer centricity.
- Maintain deep knowledge of therapeutic area/compounds, internal policies and external regulations; complete administrative tasks (e.g., Veeva CRM, correspondence, expenses, compliance modules).
- Drive personal/professional development.
Essential Requirements:
- Graduate degree in science/healthcare required; doctoral preferred (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.).
- Strong clinical knowledge (pharmacotherapy, guidelines, clinical research, medical expert engagement, FDA promotional/ethical guidelines); comply with laws/regulations and ethics/compliance policies.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; ~60β70% travel; valid driverβs license.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in assigned/related therapeutic area.
