Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Johnson & Johnson’s Neuroscience portfolio, focusing on CAPLYTA for brain health conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Objectives: establish scientific credibility, foster KOL relationships, provide balanced medical information, and support investigator-initiated research. Responsibilities: develop and execute a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategies; cultivate relationships with healthcare providers and academic leaders; facilitate scientific exchange, insight collection, and education; support clinical research activities; ensure compliance; and collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical Operations, and Sales. Requirements: Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent); 2+ years of relevant clinical or MSL experience, preferably in neuroscience; in-depth therapeutic and scientific knowledge; proficiency in clinical data analysis, problem solving, and strategic planning; ability to travel up to 70%; valid US driver’s license. Preferred: additional years of MSL or therapeutic area experience, residency/fellowship, board certification, and familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI. High-value specifics include focus on neuroscience (brain health disorders), clinical research support, and a patient-centric approach within a regulated, compliant environment. Work setup involves territory-based engagement across Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.
