Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Neuroscience for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines, covering the Great Lakes (Illinois and Wisconsin) territory. Primary objectives include developing scientific engagement strategies, building relationships with Key Thought Leaders/HCPs, and providing objective, non-promotional scientific education on J&J's neuroscience portfolio, including CAPLYTA. Responsibilities encompass executing territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies, facilitating high-quality scientific exchanges, supporting investigator-initiated studies, and gathering actionable insights to inform medical strategies. The role also involves maintaining current scientific expertise, supporting compliance, and collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, and Commercial teams. Requirements: Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers), with postgraduate experience preferred; strong therapeutic and scientific acumen, especially in brain health disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or neurodegeneration; 2+ years relevant experience (preferably MSL or therapeutic area); ability to travel up to 70%, with a valid US driverβs license. Preferred: Board certification, residency/fellowship, and familiarity with AI tools. The role emphasizes scientific integrity, strategic thinking, and cross-sector collaboration to support innovative neuroscience treatments in a highly regulated, compliant environment.
