Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Neuroscience for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines division, focusing on CAPLYTA in the Great Lakes (Illinois and Wisconsin) territory. Objectives include fostering scientific exchange, building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and supporting scientific education in brain health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and schizophrenia. Responsibilities encompass developing territory engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies, delivering objective scientific data, facilitating investigator-initiated studies, providing clinical support, and capturing actionable insights for strategic decision-making. The MSL must ensure compliance, support internal and external scientific activities, and stay abreast of disease landscape trends. Qualifications require a doctorate (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with postgraduate clinical or research experience, preferably with 2+ years in an MSL role and therapeutic area expertise. Skills include scientific acumen, data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with AI tools. Travel of up to 70% within the territory and for conferences is expected. Preferred candidates hold board certifications, residency/fellowship backgrounds, and demonstrate commitment to emerging technologies. The position involves collaboration with Medical Affairs, Research & Development, Clinical Operations, and external healthcare professionals, with a focus on ethical, compliant scientific engagement.
