Role Summary

Medical Science Liaison – Autoantibody Pipeline- Southeast. Field-based role covering the Southeast region with preferred locations in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, Tampa, or Miami, FL. Territory includes Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Focus on providing scientific information and education to opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a field strategic plan and strong territory relationships.
  • Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs/investigators/health care systems and integrate scientific data into practice to meet customer needs.
  • Present data and information appropriate to the audience and request.
  • Execute reactive and proactive outreach plans as approved through appropriate processes.
  • Integrate scientific data into real-life practice and adapt communication style to the audience.
  • Prioritize franchise customer-based initiatives while balancing administrative duties and projects.
  • Lead or participate in scientific/strategic Immunology projects and identify educational gaps.
  • Attend scientific conferences and share medical insights; synthesize data for the MSL team and partners.
  • Represent and support the company at key stakeholder meetings and speaking engagements as appropriate.
  • Provide regional/local support to enhance sales training and partner with Immunology teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Required: PharmD, PhD, or MD with 1‚Äì2 years of relevant hematology, immunology, and/or auto/alloimmune clinical or research experience; 1‚Äì2 years MSL experience (preferably in rare disease); proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to travel up to 70%.
  • Preferred: Launch experience in rare disease; significant experience giving presentations.

  • Strategic thinking, scientific acumen, data interpretation, and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Communication, stakeholder engagement, and ability to disseminate data to varied audiences.
  • Clinical trial knowledge, research coordination, and capability to work with regulatory guidelines.

Education

  • Pharmacist, Doctor, or Doctor of Philosophy degree as applicable to the role.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel up to 70% as part of field-based responsibilities.
