Role Summary
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-facing representative of DBV Technologies Medical Affairs responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Health Care Professionals to support the medical and scientific needs of the company’s products. The MSL will engage in exchange of scientific data with external stakeholders, provide medical education, support clinical trials, and gather insights to inform medical strategy and ensure proper understanding and utilization of products in the medical community.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs to align with company objectives
- Educate KOLs/HCPs with tailored educational information and updates
- Interpret and disseminate scientific, clinical, and health economic data; present at meetings and educational sessions
- Gather insights from KOLs/HCPs and competitive intelligence to guide medical strategy
- Provide input for medical strategy aligned with business objectives
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with timely, accurate information
- Train and support the sales force with scientific information
- Coordinate and support company-sponsored trials and investigator-led research
Qualifications
- A doctorate in a health science or clinical discipline is strongly preferred (MD/DO, PharmD, Nurse Practitioner, PhD or related); significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 3+ years in pharma/biotech/clinical settings; MSL experience preferred
- Strong scientific knowledge; allergy/immunology and pediatric experience preferred
- Clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred
- Knowledge of clinical research processes, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines
- Excellent presentation and teaching skills; strong written and verbal communication
- Strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Willingness to lead/participate in projects while balancing field work
- Strong problem-solving abilities and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, slide materials, spreadsheets)
- Ability to travel frequently (approximately 50-75%); valid driver’s license; field-based with home office setup

Education
