Role Summary

Join our sales team to promote innovative care for people living with Obesity or Diabetes, using your pharmacy expertise to engage healthcare professionals and grow market access across Basra.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting the products to the targeted group and make sure that the physicians get full knowledge of the product. You will participate in conferences held locally.
  • Facilitating the order process among pharmacies, warehouses and distributors.
  • You are expected to report customer complaints and adverse events according to Novo Nordisk procedure.
  • Developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets, increase market share and respond to competitor activity.
  • Monitoring sales performance, analysing data and submitting regular reports with insights and actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences and registered at Iraqi pharmacists syndicate.
  • 1–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field; experience in diabetes/obesity is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
  • Strong customer‑facing skills, commercial acumen and negotiation ability.
  • Good time management, planning and analytical skills.
  • Adaptability, a problem‑solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
