Role Summary

Medical Representative โ€šร„รฌ Basrah. Promote care for people living with obesity or diabetes, engage healthcare professionals, and grow market access across Basra.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and customer engagement in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a classified list of customers (physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, centers, etc.) to visit on a scheduled basis.
  • Promote products to targeted groups and ensure physicians have full knowledge of the product; participate in local conferences.
  • Facilitate the order process among pharmacies, warehouses, and distributors.
  • Report customer complaints and adverse events according to Novo Nordisk procedures.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets, increase market share, and respond to competitor activity.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and submit regular reports with insights and actions.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€šร„รดs degree in pharmaceutical sciences and registration with the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate.
  • Required: 1โ€šร„รฌ2 yearsโ€šร„รด experience in pharmaceutical sales or related field; diabetes/obesity experience is an advantage.
  • Required: Excellent communication skills in Arabic (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
  • Required: Strong customer-facing skills, commercial acumen, and negotiation ability.
  • Required: Good time management, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Required: Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
  • Preferred: Team player with ability to collaborate across functions.
