Role: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focusing on Novo Nordisk's Hemoglobinopathies portfolio, primarily educating healthcare providers on product safety and efficacy, supporting clinical trial site identification, and fostering scientific exchange. Responsibilities include developing medical account plans, providing clinical and scientific support to internal teams and external partners, coordinating educational activities, and facilitating clinical studies across the territory. Requirements: Doctoral degree (e.g., MD, PhD), minimum two years of experience in healthcare, pharma, or managed care, with extensive experience in Sickle Cell Disease strongly preferred. Additional clinical or therapeutic experience and business acumen, such as formulary process involvement, are advantageous. High-Value: Hemoglobinopathies, Sickle Cell Disease, Field-based role covering Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, with 50-75% overnight travel. Engagement includes key opinion leader relationships, clinical support, educational initiatives, and collaboration with internal teams like Medical, Sales, and Marketing. The position reports to the Director of Medical Affairs, RBD, and involves significant external stakeholder interaction. Work setup is field-based, requiring residence within or near the specified territory.
