Medical Liaison, Regional - Obesity & Liver Health - CT RI

Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and demonstrate clinical outcomes/benefits of NNI products; educate HCPs on key products.
- Provide medical information and coordinate educational workshops, roundtables, and medical forums.
- Serve as scientific liaison between NNI and key external customers; provide advanced product/scientific/medical field support to Medical, Sales, Marketing, Managed Care, and Government.
- Identify/coordinate clinical trial sites across development stages.
- Develop and maintain medical territory/account plans with the Field Director.
- Complete administrative duties per SOPs and comply with guidelines, policies, and legal/regulatory/compliance requirements; manage regional budgets.
- Provide monthly reports on scientific support activities and budget expenditures; log activities in Veeva and expenses in Concur.
- Attend medical/scientific meetings; stay current on issues/data; develop relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers/Institutions.
- Collaborate with HEOR on value propositions and deliver HEOR presentations when requested.
- Collaborate with Marketing/Sales to inform scientific strategies; coordinate and facilitate studies with investigators/sites and support publication.
- Coordinate integrated regional clinical/scientific coverage; provide clinical education/support within IHNs and manage professional relations.
- Coordinate education for Chief Executives, Medical Directors, and formulary stakeholders; deliver product/scientific updates and formulary presentations.
Physical Requirements:
- 50β75% overnight travel; valid driverβs license; maintain required motor vehicle record standing.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree required.
- At least 2 yearsβ experience in a health system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment required.
- Relevant clinical/therapeutic experience preferred.
- Business acumen (e.g., formulary process participation).
- Extensive diabetes experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
