Medical Liaison - Obesity & Liver Health - Northwest

The Position:
- Builds relationships and demonstrates clinical outcomes and benefits of NNI products.
- Educates and demonstrates benefits of key products to HCPs; provides medical information.
- Coordinates educational workshops, round tables, and medical forums.
- Explores and identifies sites for clinical trials in all stages of development.
- Functions as a scientific liaison between NNI and key external customers; provides advanced product/scientific/medical field support to Medical, Sales, Marketing, and Managed Care/Government.
- Uses customer need and analytics to determine territory prioritization; develops and maintains medical (territory/account) plans with the Field Director.
Essential Functions:
- Completes administrative duties per SOPs; complies with all guidelines/policies/compliance requirements.
- Manages regional business and operational budgets; provides monthly scientific support reports.
- Records activities/expenses in Veeva and Concur per FMA procedures.
- Attends medical/scientific meetings; stays current on issues/data; develops relationships with key providers/IHNs.
- Supports appropriate use/utilization of NNI products and helps address HCP/IHN questions.
- Collaborates with HEOR; delivers HEOR presentations as requested.
- Coordinates with trial sites to facilitate timely study review/initiations/completion/publication.
- Coordinates clinical education and support across IHNs; presents product/scientific updates and formulary presentations.
Physical Requirements:
- 50β75% overnight travel; valid driverβs license and good driving status.
- Territory: Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY); field-based; live in/near territory.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree required.
- At least 2 yearsβ experience in a health system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment required.
- Relevant clinical/therapeutic experience preferred.
- Business acumen; strong communication skills.
- Extensive diabetes experience strongly preferred.
